BIOGRAPHY – Professional Career

Legacy Sports Management is proud to represent the decorated German amateur boxer Hamza Touba, a fighter who became German champion for the first time at the tender age of 14. Since then he has received countless other titles and awards and gained a wealth of experience at international level. One of the most talented fighters that German boxing has to offer is aiming to switch to the paid ranks after the next Olympic Games.

The German flyweight with Moroccan roots is a six-time German champion who has dominated the national division for almost a decade. In addition to his national awards, he has had various appearances on the major international stages. Not only did he qualify for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Touba also won the bronze medal at the 2015 European Games in Baku. Countless silver and bronze medals are part of his status as an Olympic boxer, as well as victories at various international tournaments.

As one of the few German boxers, Touba has performed well in the World Series of Boxing, an international boxing tournament where amateur boxers could compete professionally while maintaining their amateur status and Olympic eligibility. Hamza has also reached the second round of two AIBA World Championships.

For now Hamza’s focus will be on fulfilling his responsibility as captain of the German national team. The Olympic Games in 2021 are planned as the grand finale of the impressive amateur career. This will be followed by a transition to the professional camp, where Hamza wants to face new challenges.  Along that road we can promise one thing: with his fan-friendly style, Hamza will provide entertainment anytime and anywhere he steps in the ring.
